Teammates.ai: Automation & Extensibility | Help Center

Overview

Teammates.ai offers multiple ways to extend your AI teammates. Native integrations are deeply built into the platform with advanced features and real-time sync. Extended integrations connect to 50+ additional tools with automatic authentication. Zapier connects Sara to 5,000+ third-party apps. And MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets you connect your own custom servers and tools directly.

Integration Type Status What It Does Best For

Zapier Integration

Zapier is live for Sara. It connects Teammates.ai to 5,000+ apps through triggers and actions, enabling powerful workflows without code. Common use cases include ATS candidate sync (import candidates from any ATS), interview notification routing (send results to Slack, email, or SMS), and scorecard delivery (push reports to Google Sheets or Notion).

  1. Open Sara's Integrations Panel
Navigate to Sara > Integrations > Zapier in the Dashboard.

  2. Authorize Zapier
Follow the Zapier OAuth flow to connect your Zapier account. Grant Teammates.ai permission to send triggers and receive actions.

  3. Create Zaps
Create Zaps using Teammates.ai triggers and actions. For example, trigger "Interview Completed" to push scorecard data to Google Sheets or send a Slack notification.

Pro Tip
Use Zapier to connect Sara with ATS systems that don't have native integrations. For example, connect BambooHR, SmartRecruiters, or JazzHR through Zapier workflows.

Extended Integrations

Extended integrations connect your AI teammates to tools beyond the native integration catalog. These integrations support 50+ pre-built connectors, handle authentication automatically, and keep your credentials encrypted. When you connect an extended integration from the Dashboard, you simply enter your credentials and the platform handles the rest.

MCP (Model Context Protocol)

Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets you connect any MCP-compatible server or tool directly to your AI teammates. If your team has built custom internal tools, proprietary databases, or specialized APIs, you can expose them to Raya, Adam, and Sara through MCP — giving your AI teammates access to the exact tools your business runs on. MCP is currently in development.

Note
MCP integration is coming soon. Contact support@teammates.ai to join the early access list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between native and extended integrations?
Native integrations (Gmail, HubSpot, Freshdesk) have deeper, custom-built sync with more features like bi-directional ticket sync and real-time webhooks. Extended integrations connect to additional tools with standard read/write operations. Both are secure and production-ready.

Can I use Zapier with Adam or Raya?
Zapier is currently available in Sara's integration panel. For Adam and Raya, use native integrations (HubSpot, Freshdesk, etc.) or contact support@teammates.ai to set up additional integrations.
